Koreans ate pickled garlic to keep tigers away. Egyptians swore on cloves of garlic as an act of indicating honest testimony. Historically prescribed for a variety of illnesses, modern day research has proves garlic to be very beneficial to the body, especially the blood system and the heart.

Tip: 1/4 teaspoon = 1 clove of fresh garlic. Not recommended for sautéing.
