Lifestyle Markets Mail Order Department is open Monday to Friday, 9AM to 5PM – Pacific Standard Time.
In most cases, we will process your order within 24 hours of receipt during business hours with the exception of Statutory Holidays.
We will package your item(s) and charge your credit card or PayPal account for the total order amount including applicable sale taxes and any applicable shipping costs for your geographic area. All Charges are stated in Canadian currency. Upon shipping, you will be sent an email confirmation that your item has been shipped. Where applicable, this confirmation will include your package tracking number.
Please note that we do not ship any grocery or perishable food items outside of Victoria BC. Liquids and fragile items are generally not acceptable for shipping. These are not covered for damage or loss and are shipped at own risk. Products may face a weight and volume limit and may be subject to additional charges after consultation with the customer.
Heavy items, or larger bulky items may require additional charges calculated before shipment. All weights are stated in metric measurements.
Pricing in-store may be different than online due to constant changes in our economy.
Canadian Orders
Our basic service in Canada utilizes Canada Post Expedited Parcel for speedy delivery. If you require even faster service, Xpresspost is available for an extra fee. All provinces require a minimum $79 purchase total before taxes (excluding the shipping costs) to receive FREE shipping. For orders under $79, there is a nominal $8 shipping charge ($6 for British Columbia). See below for delivery options:
- Expedited Parcel service has an estimated time of arrival of 1-3 business days within Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario. All other Canadian destinations outside of B.C. have an estimated time of arrival of 2-7 business days. Up to $100 FREE insurance is included with higher amounts available for an extra fee.
- Xpresspost has an estimated time of arrival of 1-2 business days for Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario destinations; 2 business days for all other Canadian destinations. Up to $100 FREE insurance is included with higher amounts available for an extra fee.

USA Orders
- All packages are charged a $20 flat shipping rate and shipped via Canada Post Expedited Parcel USA. Up to $100 FREE insurance included. Estimated shipping time is as little as 6 days to most major business centers. Heavier and/or larger packages may be subject to different rating, only after consultation with customers.
- For an extra charge, Xpress Post USA is the fastest option for most packages, and includes $100 FREE insurance with higher amounts available for an extra fee. Estimated shipping time is as little as 2 and 3 business days between major urban centers.
- We do not ship to California, Alaska, Hawaii, and the US territories.
Please note that it is the responsibility of the customer to be aware of any charges or customs policies imposed by the USA and Lifestyle Markets will not be held liable.
International Orders
Shipping fees apply to all International orders. Shipping options and fees vary widely according to package size, weight and destination. Shipping times also vary with shipping options and destination. We will contact you with your options after you place your order. Shipping insurance information will be included in the your shipping options email. Billing will only occur after your confirmation. Please note that is the responsibility of the customer to be aware of any charges or customs policies imposed by their individual countries and Lifestyle Markets will not be held liable.
Payment Policy
Payment for mail orders including any applicable sales taxes or pre-arranged shipping costs will be charged to your credit card or PayPal account only after the order is filled and ready for packaging. Amounts showing on your credit card or PayPal account prior to billing are solely a hold placed on funds to ensure a complete and smooth transaction. Unfulfilled orders will result in any holds being removed.
Sales Tax
GST is a mandatory federal tax on most items and is charged at the till, based on the address it is shipped to, along with applicable PST for BC customers. Orders originating in destinations outside of Canada will not be charged GST or any other sales tax.
Return Policy
Canadian Returns
All returns require pre-approval and are at the discretion of Lifestyle Markets. Returns must be made no later than 30 days from original shipment. A copy of your receipt is required. Return shipping costs are not included with return costs.
Unopened items are only granted a full refund if the product is received in resalable condition. Opened products that are returned require a small signed note of explanation. Product manufacturers require disclosure of the customer’s name and phone number in accordance with GMP standards for quality control.
If you decide to refuse any shipments from Lifestyle Markets, you are responsible for both the original shipping cost incurred and the cost of returning the package to us. This amount will be subtracted from your merchandise refund.
International & US Returns
No returns accepted from outside of Canada.

Credit Card Processing Policy
We work to protect the security of your information so that no part of your Credit Card can be read during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encrypting software. Credit Card payments are processed only when we have completed your order according to your instructions. You will be notified when the order has been processed and your Credit Card has been charged.
