Organic Fair Clove Buds (30g)

One of the first globally traded spices, these organic clove buds are warm and sweet. They are harvested from large evergreen trees, and a little goes a long way when added to fruit preserves and sauces, sweetbreads, and muffins.

Clove buds pair excellently with cumin and cinnamon and they are essential to traditional masala chai and garam masala spices. The warm and spicy flavour of clove is perfect for the Winter season, inserting whole cloves and garlic into the skin of your ham while baking, or add them to mincemeat or Christmas pudding.
