Vitamin E is fat-soluble vitamin and an antioxidant that protects against heart disease, diabetes, menopausal symptoms and many other conditions. Vitamin E is divided into two categories: tocopherols and tocotrienols. This is further divided into four more compounds: alpha, beta, gamma, and delta. d-alpha tocopherol is the most common form of Vitamin E in the market.
