Natural Factors Iron Chelate 25 mg is a factor in the formation and proper function of red blood cells. It helps prevent iron deficiency anemia and to maintain good health. The iron is chelated, allowing it to be more readily absorbed and metabolized by the body.

Iron is a trace mineral found in hemoglobin and myoglobin, proteins present in red blood cells and muscle cells that carry oxygen to produce energy and remove waste carbon dioxide. Iron is also needed for the function of enzymes involved in energy production and is important for growth.
