About Nin Jiom Medicine Manufactory

Yang Xiaolian was a young commander from the province during the Qing Dynasty. When his mother became ill with a cough, he went above and beyond to find her a cure. One day, he met a famous Chinese physician who gave him an ancient secret formula for syrup designed specifically for coughing. To Yang's amazement, it worked and cured his mother within days.

Many years later, Yang Xiaolian's mother told him to reproduce the cough syrup and make it available to everyone before she passed away. He named it Nin Jiom, which means "in memory of my mother." The inspiration for the Nin Jiom logo came from this story and stressed the important virtue of filial piety.
