Directions for Use

Adults: Take 1 capsule daily at or before bedtime, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.

Jet lag: Take once daily at bedtime while travelling or at destination until adapted to the new time zone (do not exceed 1 capsule daily).

Duration of use: Consult a healthcare practitioner for use beyond 4 weeks.

Cautions

Consult a healthcare practitioner if sleeplessness persists for more than 4 weeks (chronic insomnia), or if symptoms persist or worsen. Avoid taking with products that cause drowsiness. Consult a healthcare practitioner before use if you are taking medications for seizure, blood pressure, immune suppression (immunosuppressive medications), mental state or sedation, steroids, or blood thinners; or if you have cardiovascular, immune, liver, or chronic kidney disease, hormonal or seizure disorders, asthma, depression and/or related diseases, diabetes, low blood sugar, or migraine.

Contraindications: Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not drive or use machinery for 5 hours after taking melatonin. Do not use with alcohol.

Known adverse reactions: Discontinue use if hypersensitivity or allergy occurs. Discontinue use if you experience headache, confusion, or nausea. Some people may experience drowsiness — exercise caution if operating heavy machinery, driving a motor vehicle, or involved in activities requiring mental alertness. Keep out of reach of children.
