Quercetin is a bioflavonoid derived from the Sophora japonica flower and found in small amounts in many herbs, fruits, and vegetables. It provides antioxidant support and helps support immune function. Quercetin also acts as a zinc ionophore — helping zinc enter cells, where it supports the formation of antioxidant enzymes such as superoxide dismutase as part of the body’s antioxidant defences. Zinc is an essential trace mineral critical to both innate and adaptive immunity, as well as energy metabolism, tissue formation, and red blood cell production. Copper is included alongside zinc because these two minerals compete for absorption — supplementing them together helps maintain the proper balance between them.

I discovered this product during "Covid" and will continue to take it for the immune support (no more chronic sniffle, HOORAY) and the difference that it seems to make for me at the gym and through the day. It seems to help keep my weight down, and I don't get groggy in the afternoon anymore. I think this stuff is great, in conjunction with regular multivitamin supplements and a healthy diet, but of course, please do your own due diligence.
