N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine, or NAC, is a free-form amino acid required by the body to make glutathione. Glutathione is part of the body’s antioxidant defense system, recognized for supporting healthy aging. Taken by itself, glutathione is poorly absorbed, but NAC facilitates our body’s own production of it. It is an especially beneficial supplement for active people, the elderly, individuals exposed to pollution, and anyone else wanting to have healthy levels of glutathione, our master antioxidant.

Medicinal Ingredients:
Each tablet contains: NAC (N-acetyl-L-cysteine)1000 mg

Non-medicinal Ingredients:
Microcrystalline cellulose, dicalcium phosphate dihydrate, hydroxypropylcellulose, coating (carbohydrate gum [cellulose], glycerin), stearic acid, silica, vegetable grade magnesium stearate (lubricant).

Recommended adult dose: 
1 tablet daily with a meal providing protein or as directed by a health care practitioner. Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 6 months.
