Certified Organic Spaghetti Squash (per kg)

Certified Organic Spaghetti Squash is a large, oval winter squash with pale yellow skin and a uniquely stringy flesh that separates into long, noodle-like strands when cooked — making it one of the most popular low-carb alternatives to pasta. Its flavour is mild and subtly sweet, with a slightly firm texture that holds up well to sauces and toppings. Certified organic and non-GMO. Sold per kg. In-store or local delivery only.
The simplest preparation is to halve lengthwise, scoop out the seeds, brush with olive oil, and roast cut-side down at 200°C (400°F) for 35–45 minutes until the flesh is tender and easily shredded with a fork. The resulting strands can be topped with marinara, pesto, butter and parmesan, or any pasta sauce. It also works well in baked dishes, stir-fries, and grain bowls. The seeds can be rinsed, seasoned, and roasted as a snack. A natural source of Vitamin C, Vitamin B6, manganese, and dietary fibre.
