Green leaf lettuce is one of the most versatile salad greens — its large, ruffled leaves are tender enough to eat whole and sturdy enough to use as wraps. Tear into salads, layer into sandwiches and burgers, use as a taco or lettuce wrap base, or shred finely for slaws. Its mild flavour pairs well with virtually any dressing.
