Certified Organic Crimini Mushrooms are a step up from white button mushrooms in both flavour and texture — firmer, meatier, and with a deeper, earthier umami taste. Also known as baby bella or brown mushrooms, criminis are simply a younger harvest of the portobello mushroom, sharing the same rich flavour profile in a smaller, more versatile size. Crimini mushrooms hold their shape and texture well under heat, making them ideal for sautéing, roasting, grilling, and stir-frying. Slice into pasta sauces, risottos, and soups; quarter and roast until golden and caramelized; or cook whole in butter and garlic as a simple side. Their firmer texture also makes them a better choice than white mushrooms for skewering on the grill. A natural source of B vitamins (B2, B3, B5), copper, selenium, and potassium.
